What am I made of ? What do I believe in?
Hiding in a small cranny on the wall, inside a place, or outside in the streets, in the interstices of the city, in a nook that we thought had been left empty- there they are! Contemplative people from a forgotten time, talking about what they believe in what they are made of…whispering to us.
La Brèche (“the crack” in French) is an immersive performance, standing in-between an animation movie and a puppet show, which was conceived for public spaces.
Street theatre, magical techniques from puppetry and cinema joined forces to reveal the existence of these people living the nooks and crannies of our city.
The characters are puppets voiced by real people who had been interviewed on a specific question: what do you believe in?
